DEGREE

The Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka invites applications from JAMB UTME candidates for post-UTME screening exercise for the 2017/2018 Academic Session.

Interested candidates are to be guided by the following:

  1. A) All prospective candidates who chose Federal College of Education(Tech), Omoku in affiliation with University of Nigeria , Nsukka (UNN) as their first choice and have also done change of institution and courses to Federal College of Education (Tech), Omoku and have 2017 UTME scores not less than 120, and also DIRECT ENTRY candidates who chose the College as their first choice and have done change of institution and courses to the college are by informed that Screening Registration Exercise for 2017/2018 admission is on.
  2. B) In addition to the above, all candidates who have five (5) O/Level credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings for (UTME), plus NCE, ND, Diploma and advanced NABTEB etc. for DIRECT ENTRY.
  3. C) Direct entry candidates possessing either NCE, Diploma or Advance level papers in relevant subjects for the 3-year program who did not choose Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku in affiliation with the University of Nigeria Nsukka as their first choice in the 2017/2018 JAMB Direct Entry Registration but wish to study in the College.

However, candidates in categories B and C are advised to do the necessary change of institution to Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku in affiliation with The University of Nigeria Nsukka 72 hours before applying.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

Pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (2,000.00) only for the screening exercise, One Thousand Naira (1,000.00) only for portal access fee into Midland Micro-finance Bank Account No. 1140104963. Present the teller at the College Bursary Department to obtain College official receipt. Five Hundred (500.00) Naira only for processing fee. The (2,000.00) and (1,000.00) Naira are paid at the bank while the (500.00) Naira is paid at the office where the processing is done.

Conclude the registration exercise and submit photocopies of all relevant documents to the Directorate of Degree Program of the college at campus II.

GIANT LEAP

Breaking News

Feceto takes a giant leap on the aesthetics road. The College commenced landscaping and beautification of Campus I and Campus II via planting of pine trees and shrubs along the major roads. In line with Management decision on April 22nd, 2014, Schools are to take care of all external spaces where they are located. The School of Business Education commended landscaping for an Entrepreneurial Garden next to its main office building. Small group seminars and workshops will be held there.

Campus II is now wearing a new look following deforestation and landscaping. The vision is to develop a canal with banks off the Obrikom Road and make it an events venue.

It is very important to note that school fees can be paid twice (first payment in 1st semester and second payment in 2nd semester) or it can be paid once in 1st semester. NEW ACADEMIC PROGRAM FOR DEGREE

This is to inform the general public that the National Universities Commission(NUC) has approved seven new programes for the degree programme of FCE(T)OMOKU.
The programmes are:

3. Mathematics Education
4. Biology Education
5. Physics Education
6. Chemistry Education
7. Computer Education

By this development, the college which is affiliated to the University of Nigeria Nsukka now offers ten degree programmes.

Meanwhile admission into the degree programme of thr college for the 2015/2016 academic session is still on, prospective candidates should contact the degree programme office at Campus Two for more details.

FEES PAYMENT

1. All year one students MUST pay their fees and register their courses before the start of the semester exams for the current academic session.

2. Year two students MUST pay their school fees for year 3 before going for Teaching Practice (TP).

Students should by this notice, be adviced and informed in their best interest to pay their school fees before their exams to avoid been penalised.

RESUMPTION FOR 2016/2017 ACADEMIC SESSION

Please be informed that ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES FOR 2016/2017 SESSION begins on Friday 11th November 2016, and Lectures commences on Monday 14th November 2016 for all programs.

Students are encouraged to pay their fees and register thier courses before commencement of lectures as CLASS ADMIT CARDS will be enforced for entry into regular classes, practical classaes, submission of assignments, test and semester examination.
